As of Friday we are officially into the most wonderful season (In my opinion) Fall. Oh my, what is NOT to love about the beautiful Autumn colours, smells, activities, food, etc.
First thing that is a benefit for me is my pain levels are generally super manageable without Pain Medication in the fall. Something about the cool crips temperatures, and light layers required during the fall that make me feel wonderful. I always have minimal migraines during the Fall which is a huge relief.
Knowing this, I have decided to name this the “Season of Self Care”.
So what does that mean exactly? During the Fall I will be doing a major focus on Self Care and Self Love. This Summer was a really good time, but I was so busy every single weekend being super involved in the Community events that I don’t think I slowed down at all. Now I am deciding to make a conscious effort to take more time for me.
So stay tuned on the Blog & my social media pages… each day I’ll be talking about Self Care in some capacity, and showing you MY personal Self Care routines, and ideas. I’m hoping to do a lot more home cooking, baking, and refocusing a bit on Food posts for you guys. I’ve been getting a lot of emails and DM’s regarding my favourite Fall Foods. I’ll also be taking part in an amazing Body Positive campaign with my good friend, and fellow Body Positive Blogger Kayla Logan. She is making moves in this industry and I’m so excited to be a part of something so powerful.
I’ll be doing some travelling during this time for some relaxation away, spa visits (because we all know how important those are), as well as just my favourite things to do with Self Care.
I’ll be hosting a Friends-giving with my closest group of Girlfriends, ensuring I have a fully Organic, Gluten Free meal for my girls to enjoy! (And a lot of Wine, Cider and of course Glutenberg Beer.)
I hope you will follow along this new adventure with me, and I look forward to blogging along this time period to talk about the changes both mentally and physically I’m experiencing, and why it’s so important for Self Care. I’m hoping that by taking these next few months to really focus on my well-being, it will transition into a great 2019 and my 29th year of life will be an even better and positive one.
If you are someone interested in collaborating and being apart of my Season of Self Care please reach out to me via email firstname.lastname@example.org
Until next time,
